You’ll never get lost on the Georgian trail, which is well-marked with yellow blazes on trees and posts. And suppose you’re looking for something more challenging than just walking in one direction (which we promise won’t bore you).
In that case, several side trails off the main path leading down into ravines or up onto ridges with stunning views over Lake Huron below and inland towards Georgian Bay itself…so keep an eye out while hiking along these paths well.
Sunset Point Park is located on the tip of a peninsula that juts into Lake Huron. The park has picnic tables, a playground and walking trails.
It’s open year-round, so that it can be enjoyed any time of year! One of our favorite things about Sunset Point Park is how close it is to the water; you’ll get amazing views from both sides of this tiny peninsula!
